Role of CBCT in dental caries detection; a systematic review.

All the studies included in the review is in vitro studies, while in clinical situations, the quality of CBCT images can be seriously affected by patient motion and by soft tissue as well as beam hardening and scatter caused by metallic restorations; so we need to conduct more in vivo studies regarding caries detection, specially recurrent caries.
